David Méndez is a film director from Barcelona, working worldwide.

While working as an architect in Switzerland, he discovered his passion for filmmaking when he shot his first short film in 2014. This experience was so revealing and clear to him that he left his job and went to Berlin to study Filmmaking while directing some short films and music videos. After that, he went to ESCAC (Barcelona) to focus on film direction. During this period he developed his skills in direction of actors, cinematography and directed bigger team production structures.

Since then he has enjoyed like a child directing fiction, brand films, creative documentaries and commercials for brands like Raimat, Codorniu, Smint, Ministry of Sound, Kinder, Viñapomal and many others. Nowadays he is developing a short & feature film, while keeping on directing commercials and brand films for different production companies worldwide.
